Creating Flowcharts
A flowchart like the one above can outline a complex process, showing steps and decision points. Computer programmers and engineers often use this tool to visualize complex processes. You can, too.
Your Turn Pick a process that you would like to represent in a flowchart. (Hint: Simpler processes like "My Morning Routine" will be easier to represent than complex processes like "Diagnosing a Disease.") Then study the parts of a flowchart and use them to map out your process.
