Using Reflexive Pronouns

A pronoun is a word that refers to a noun.

Dora Duck watches nature shows on her TV.

       (Her is a pronoun that refers to "Dora.")

A reflexive pronoun ends in -self or -selves and "reflects" the subject.

Once, Dora saw herself on TV.

       (Herself reflects back on the subject—Dora.)
